She Keeps Bees release "Coyote" and announce album Kinship
We are over the moon for what’s finally coming soon. Jessica Larrabee and Andy LaPlant have finished a new She Keeps Bees album and we are preparing for the release on May 10th. Today, March 1st, the duo released a first song, see the news on The 405, The Line Of Best Fit, at Paste, or - en francais - at The Apologist
With their first single “Coyote”, Jessica Larrabee and Andy LaPlant honor 20th century environmental activist, Smithsonian Folkways musician and actor Katie Lee, with an accompanying video documenting Lee roaming the Arizona canyons she loved. It’s the perfect introduction to the entrancing and emotionally strident force of Kinship.
Their new album, Kinship, follow up to 2014 Eight Houses will be released May 10th through BB*ISLAND and for North-America through our friends at Ba Da Bing.
Preorders start today. People in North-America can order here at Ba Da Bing.
For the streamers, you can pre-add the album here at Spotify: smarturl.it/SKB-ks-Presave or at itunes/apple music.
Kinship is richly dark; its lyrics observing nature and the environment from omniscient perspectives.
